V poušti s Mercedesem 500 SL

The Mercedes-Benz Museum brings the rally variant R107 based on the Mercedes-Benz 500 SL Roadster to the Californian desert and impressively demonstrates the dynamic of the vehicle. The R107 was intended as the successor to the longer-wheelbase SLC coupés that Mercedes-Benz campaigned in international rallying in the late 1970s. This particular R107 is one of four that was prepared for the 1981 rally season.
